Description
The Government intends to award on a sole source to Sensis Corporation, 5793 Widewaters Parkway, DeWitt, NY 13214 for installation of the Multi-Static Dependent Surveillance System and Surveillance Data Server at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC), Twentynine Palms, CA. with an approximate value of $ 4.3 M. Sensis will provide familiarity and knowledge of the MCAGCC infrastructure, which is essential for installation of the Air Position, Location, Information (PLI) system as it will require integration with existing and planned (Government installed) communication infrastructure aboard the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC). The system must be COTS, capable of distributed interrogations in order to operate in a rugged topography when direct line of sight between transmitters and receivers is not available. Additionally, system supplier should provide proven past performance and field experience installing and deploying FAA compatible systems to Air Traffic Control facilities. Only one source is responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirement. As part of this Notice to Award, the Marine Corps System Command, Program Manager for Training Systems (PMTRASYS), releases a DRAFT Statement of Work and DRAFT Systems Requirements Document for industry review. These documents and all future documents are available for download from the PM TRASYS website, Business Opportunities Division at: http://www.marcorsyscom.usmc.mil/trasys/trasysweb.nsf/All/B3C9089505B12F5C85256D98004BC152 This is not a request for quotations or an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. It should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the US Government to issue a solicitation. Any information provided to the Government in response to this RFI will become USMC property and will not be returned. All proprietary or classified information will be treated appropriately. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days after publication of this notice, a sole source contract to Sensis Corporation will be issued.
