- On behalf of the Naval Air Station, Corpus Christi, the Fleet & Industrial Supply Center, Jacksonville, Florida intends to solicit on a small business set aside basis, Household Goods Services. The requirement consists of packing, crating, moving and storage services for the household goods of DoD personnel in the South Texas region. The Solicitation Number for this requisition is N68836-04-R-0018. The period of performance is 01 January 2005 through 31 December 2005, plus four one-year option periods. The acquisition will be conducted under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 484210; small business size standard is $21.5 million, utilizing procedures authorized under the test program for commercial items. A firm fixed price contract is contemplated. The solicitation resulting from this announcement will be available on or about 3 August 2004 to interested parties via the http://www.fedbizopps.gov website. The Government will not distribute a hard copy solicitation or amendment documents. Potential offerors that download the solicitation from this websites must monitor the website periodically for potential amendments to the solicitation (no telephone requests will be accepted). Contractors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database prior to receiving a government awarded contract. The CCR website is http://www.ccr.gov.
