Description
This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. This is a modification to previous synopsized Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division requirement N00178-04-Q-1042 for the acquisition of three (3) EWA Government Systems BEWT SLG32A Emulator Systems, Model BEWT-19603-31 or equal. This modification provides for the acquisition of these emulations on an un-restricted basis. The following minimum requirements are still applicable: 1) must emulate the AN/ SLQ-32A Display and Control Console (DCC) in all of its functions and capabilities; 2) must provide a realistic DCC Polar Display with matching emission audio regeneration as well as operator keystroke feedback to the BEWT system; and 3) must be able to process classified data up to the SECRET/GENSER level and be able to maintain a user manageable track classification database. Deliveries will be to the Receiving Officer, Combat Direction Systems Activity, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, 1922 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, VA 23461-2097 and must occur by 31 August 2004. No deliveries or installation will occur on Federal holidays. The synopsis number is N00178-04-Q-1042 and is issued as a Request For Quotation. The Defense Priority and Allocation System (DPAS) rating is DO-A7 and the NAICS Code is 334111 and relates to a size standard of 1,000 employees. The closing date for receipt of proposals is extended until 22 July 2004. Electronic proposal are encouraged at XDS11@nswc.navy.mil or may be faxed to (540) 653-7088 or delivered to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Attn: Code XDS118, Building 183, First Floor, Room 102, 17320 Dahlgren Road, Dahlgren, VA 22448-5100. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division has implemented Electronic Commerce in the acquisition area; therefore, the synopsis with any applicable amendments will be available on the World Wide Web at http://www.nswc.navy.mil/supply. Hard copies will not be provided. Vendors should regularly access the NSWCDD Web Site to ensure that they have downloaded all amendments
