Description

The Contractor shall provide all services necessary to conduct nonvascular plant surveys in project areas. Project sites include areas considered for future timber sales, fuels reduction, and silviculture treatments. The work consists of walking transects to search for nonvascular plants (lichens, bryophytes and liverworts), compiling species lists, and documenting BLM Special Status species. Project sites are located in Glendale Resource Area, Medford District, Oregon. This solicitation will not be posted electronically. This is a three-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity project not to exceed $500,000. In accordance with Department of the Interior and Related Agencies Appropriation Act, 2001 Public Law 106-291, Contracting Officers from Bureau of Land Management, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Fish and Wildlife Service, National Park Service and USDA, Forest Service are authorized to issue task orders against this contract. This solicitation will be posted electronically. Paper copies are no longer available. Estimated issue date is August 13, 2004. This solicitation is set aside for small business concerns. See Numbered Note(s): 1.
