Description
The Bureau of Indian Affairs is seeking potential Small Business, with prefernce given to Service Disable Veteran Own Contractors to contract potential supplies/services. At a Firm Fix price conduct a complete physical reinspection for 16 Bureau of Indian Affairs (BIA) owned schools geographically located in the state of Florida, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Louisana and in accordance with 40 CFR 763.85 for friable and non-friable known or assumed Asbestos Cintaining Building Material (ACBM), provide report for recommendation of finding. Preform comprehensive Asbestos Management Plans inspection of the 16 BIA owned schools geographically located in the state of Florida, Maine, Mississippi, North Carolina, and Louisana, for Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act (AHERA) Compliance. Contract must have AHERA accredidation. Provide recommend remedial action plans for removal, enclosure, encapsulation or removal of cited or damaged conditions where it is deemed necessary to bring the school/facilities into compliance with AERHA and other laws. All work shall be in compliance with the US Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA) regulation. The government estimated cost for this project is between $35,000 and 40,000. Contractors must be registered in Central Contracting Registration (CCR) at www.ccr.gov. Contractors will be required to certify their small business representation. The response received from this posting will be used, by the Government, to send potemtial contractors, Invitation for Bids or Request for Quotes. This is not a notice for request for quotes, request for proposal, or invitation for bid issuance. This is not a solicitation for any type of requirement at all. This posting's purpose is only to uncover potential sources when the government has the requirement. The Government is in no way obligated to do business with or to enter into in any form of contract with any person, firm or other entity that receives this inquiry. The inquiry neither states nor implies that future contracts will be awarded to persons, firms, or other entities responding to this inquiry. However, there may be a possibility for future business if/when the Government has a need for computer software trainging.
