Description
The Southern Region Contracting Center-East, Fort McPherson, Georgia intends to solicit offers in response to Request for Proposal (RFP) W911SE-04-R-0005 to provide mobilization support services to 16 Power Projection Platforms/Power Support Platform s (PPP/PSP). PPP locations are Forts Lewis, Riley, Carson, McCoy, Sill, Bliss, Hood, Polk, Bragg, Benning, Campbell, Stewart, Drum, Dix, and Eustis. PSP location is Fort Leonard Wood. The support services may also be used by other Continental United Sta tes (CONUS) installations as needed. Support services include the 12 task areas of Plans, Training, Mobilization, Security, Human Resources, Finance, Material Management and Supply, Admin Services, Movements, Equipment Readiness and Maintenance, Billeting and Facilities, and Information Management. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210, small business size standard is $30 Million. The Government intends to solicit this acquisition as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The purpose of this requirement will be to provide CONUS Support Based (CSB) Services in all task areas at all locations stated above. This can be managed by forming teaming arrangements between small and large businesses. The anticipa ted solicitation release date will be O/A 30 July 2004. The resultant contracts will be multiple award Indefinite Delivery-Indefinite Quantity (ID/IQ) type contracts that will be for a base period of 12 months with four one-year options. These contracts will ensure maximum flexibility in supporting current and future mobilization. All task areas referenced above are expected to be used to some extent at all locations for mobilization, deployment, redeployment and remobilization purposes. All interested concerns are advised that some portions of the requirement may be reviewed and/or evaluated by M P R I, a contractor, located at 1201 East Abingdon Drive, Suite 425, Alexandria, VA 22314, 703-684-0853. It is the responsibility of submitters to resolve Org anizational and Consultant Conflicts of Interest issues. Due to severe time constraints there will not be a Pre-Proposal Conference scheduled. Industry Day for this project was held on 29 June 2004. The slides that were used for the presentations at the Industry Day Conference are available to all contractors that were not present, but who are still interested in participating in this effort.
