- Interested offerors are encouraged to visit the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) website at (www.arnet.gov/far/loadmainre.html). The provision located at the website that applies is FAR 52.213-4, Non-Commercial Items (APR 2003): (a) The Government anticipates awarding a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror conforming to the solicitation that will be most advantageous to the Government when price and other factors are considered. The following factors will be used to evaluate offers: (i) technical capability of the service offered to meet the Government?s requirements; (ii) price. Interested offerors must to contact Ms. Annette Stevens, NOAA Contract Specialist via email at (annette.stevens@noaa.gov) or at 301-713-3405, x116, to obtain a detailed copy of the Statement of Work and Government drawings. Quotes must be received no later than 12 noon eastern daylight savings time, August 6, 2004. Faxed versions of quotes are acceptable. The fax number is 301-713-1024. The Government is seeking sources for the ASOS Dewpoint Sensor Modification Hardware Kits. These kits consist of the assembly of several fabricated items and several commercial items into a single container. The anticipated contract will be for 165 individually packaged kits. Components for a mounting pole are fabricated and painted in accordance with Government drawings. Several commercially available electrical supplies (wires, conduit fittings, hardware, etc.) are packaged with the fabricated mounting pole in accordance with Government Statement of Work such that each complete kit can be stocked at the Government depot.
