Description
PR: IQC04079009007. NSN: 5925-01-301-3260. Item description: ACTUATOR, ELECTRO-ME. Approved sources: Eaton Aerospace LLC Div Electro-Mechanical Systems (17472) P/N 100000-61, Smiths Aerospace Inc. (05624) P/N SYLC51697-1, and McDonnell Douglas Corporation (88277) P/N j013503-503. A 12-month Indefinite Delivery Contract with two (2) 12-month option periods (3-year total) is anticipated. Increments solicited: 15-24, 25-34, 35-49, 50-64, and 65-85 units. Set-Aside: Unrestricted. Destination: Specified on individual delivery orders. Delivery schedule: Specified on individual delivery orders. All responsible sources may submit an offer/proposal which shall be considered. Requests for hard copies of this solicitation and specifications, plans or drawings are available at the following web site: http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil/ after the issue date (08/04/04). See Note(s): 26. The Small Business size standard is 750 employees. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed three (3) years. This acquisition is for supplies for which the Government does not possess complete, unrestrictive technical data; therefore, the Government intends to solicit and contract with only approved sources under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation.
