Description
The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the Air Force?s intent to award a sole source GSA delivery order/modification for the development and sustainment effort in support of the Purchase Request Process System (PRPS), D203. The period of performance will be 35 months. The contractor will complete development of the PRPS system to include deploying the system, and performing sustainment, modifications, and modernization with functional requirements, enhancements, and/or new functional capabilities as identified by the Government to the current version of PRPS. Activities include, but are not limited to, development, integration with the Global Combat Support System-Air Force (GCSS-AF) Integration Framework (IF), testing, implementation, training (includes a web-based training simulator), and sustaining an effective PRPS solution. The PRPS application will be accessed via the Air Force (AF) Portal using a compatible web-browser from users located at five Air Force sites: Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma; Hill AFB, Utah; Robins AFB, Georgia; Lackland AFB, Texas; and Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source delivery order/modification to Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), 2600 Paramount Place, Fairborn Ohio 45324, to continue the development/sustainment efforts described above. This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not pay for either the effort and associated costs to respond or for the information provided. This synopsis does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP). Brackenhoff, MSG/PK, has been appointed the Ombudsman to hear concerns from the contractor during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the Program Manager and/or Contracting Officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate Government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
