- DESCRIPTION: The VA Medical Center, Asheville, NC has a requirement for an X-Ray Film Digitizer. This equipment shall consist of the following equipment and meet all minimum specifications: 1.PC Workstation with DVD burner/software and direct scanning capability to CD and DVD. 17” monitor; 2.3 GHz processor; 40 GB hard drive; 512 MG memory; gigabit network card. 2.Loading Capacity: minimum of 6 sheets 3.DICOM requirements: DICOM compatible; direct DICOM print capability; DICOM data storage of 80 GB; interface with hospital computer system to provide patient demographic information (HL7 HIS/RIS). 4.Optical Resolution: minimum of 600 x 800 5.Interface Requirements: compatible to VistA, VistA RAD, CPRS, DICOM 6.Scanning Requirements: scan to VistA, VistA RAD, CPRS 7.Warranty Terms: minimum of 1 year parts and labor with 24-hour response time for service calls. Post-warranty service quote requested. 8.Training: Certified manufacturer’s training for two biomedical technicians conducted on site in Asheville, NC to include 2 copies of Service Manual. All responsible sources may submit a quotation that shall be considered by the agency. Due date for receipt of offers is July 26, 2004, 4:30 p.m. EST. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services/items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors are to refer to Addendum to FAR 52-212-1 - Instructions to Offerors for additional documentation to be submitted and a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Items, with its offer. Offerors should clearly mark their offers as their response to RFQ 246-01564 and may send by USPS or other ground carrier, or hand-delivered to : VA Medical Center, ATTN: Jeff Benton (90C), 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 on or before the due date for offers.
