- Description
- The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services intends to procure, on a sole source basis, various Siebel Software and maintenance, to include, but not limited to, Siebel 7 eHealthcare, Siebel Analytics, Siebel Web Services and Siebel Answers 7, in support of its Next Generation Desktop and Virtual Call Center Strategy initiatives. CMS conducted an open competition that resulted in the development of the Next Generation Desktop application on a Siebel platform. The use of the Seibel software platform was also supported by an independent review of other potential software options. Since the development of the base application has been completed on the Siebel Service eHealthcare platform, the sole source purchase of Siebel licenses for the rollout of the NGD desktop is necessary. This synopsis is a Notice of Intent to place a contract with Siebel Systems, Inc, for the above software and should not be considered a request for proposals. All inquiries concerning this sole source procurement must be received within 15 calendar days of the publication of this notice.
