Description
The notice of 13 MAY 2004 is hereby revised to reflect the intent to negotiate on a sole source basis for a new contract to G&H International Services LLC, 1747 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Suite 700, Washington, DC 20006-4604. Services currently being provided under Contract N65236-02-D-7047 are in support of technology planning, standards coordination, dissemination of normalized information on new technology/products to the community, technical assistance (technology transfer) and transition to operational law enforcement settings. The new contract effort will focus of research and strategic technology planning and will build on previously conducted needs assessments, domain analysis, and policy analysis of various Justice Security components and will, accordingly, plan for increased security of the personnel and property of the United States and technology integration and outreach to the state and local community demonstrations that support this goal. All efforts will leverage on-going Justice and DoD personnel and technology planning and outreach programs and their resources. Areas included are technology to combat terrorism, Officer Safety, information and communication interoperability, and others. G&H International has extensive experience with Justice/Military R&D initiatives for dual-use technology development and demonstration and program support in these areas including those of the Joint Program Steering Group (JPSG). Approximately 10,800 man-hours plus travel for the Labor categories of Junior and Senior Law Enforcement Analysts and Technologists will be required. NOTE 22 applies.
