Description
The U.S. Army Contracting Agency, Aberdeen Proving Ground, has a requirement for operation of the Government owned Dining Facilities located on Aberdeen (AA) and Edgewood (EA) areas of Aberdeen Proving Ground (APG). There are currently three dining facilities in operation, Bldg. 4305 APG-AA, Bldg. 4219, and Bldg. 4225 APG-EA. The total number of meals served per day for all three facilities is 6,000 (breakfast, lunch, dinner). Contractor shall provide all labor, including management, and some equ ipment, to operate each facility serving three meals per day, night, weekend, and holiday meals as required. The Government will provide all service equipment and supplies for use in the facilities. This solicitation will be issued in accordance with the regulations and guidance of the Randolph-Sheppard Act (20 USC 1097). Therefore, the State Licensing Agency will be afforded paramount priority. If the State Licensing Agency's proposal is determined t o be within the competitive range comprising all of the most highly rated proposals (or consisting of the greatest number that will permit an efficient competition among the most highly rated proposals), a contract will be awarded to the State Licensing Agency based upon priority in accordance with the Randolph-Sheppard Act and implementing regulations. The solicitation will be posted to the website on or about July 28, 2004. The resultant contract will be a cost plus award fee type. Period of performance shall be for a base year and four one-year options. The NAICS code applicable to this solicitatio n is 722310 with a size standard of $17.5 million.
