- Provide all materials, labor, supervision, equipment and transportation to clean and inspect the high and low water reservoirs at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, in accordance with the Statement of Work, wage determinations and contents of the contract. Rese rvoirs shall be cleaned and inspected by a licensed professional in the trade. Reservoirs shall be cleaned and inspected on consecutive days, i.e. Monday and Tuesday, respectively. Fort McCoy personnel shall drain the low level reservoir a day prior to c leaning. The low level reservoir shall be cleaned first. Once all the water has been drained, the interior floor and lower walls of the reservoirs shall be cleaned. Reservoirs shall be inspected in accordance with AWWA and WI DNR guidelines for water ta nk inspections to assess the structural, sanitary, coatings, security, piping, and valve conditions. After all inspection work is completed, the reservoirs shall be spray disinfected according to AWWA C652-92 (Standard for Disinfection of Water Storage Fa cilities, Chlorination Method 2). The reservoirs shall have bacteria samples collected according to WI DNR Wisconsin Administration Code NR 811.58, Subsection 17. This refers to NR 811.07, Subsection 3 a & b. A written report shall be submitted outlinin g the condition of the reservoirs. The low level reservoir shall include the condition of the piping, valves, and gates. The high level shall include the condition of the membrane lining and concrete. The report shall be stamped by a Wisconsin-registere d professional engineer. Generally, hours of operation during which these services can be performed are 7 A.M. through 4:30 P.M. This procurement will be for the period from 1 Sep 04 through 30 Sep 04. The proposed procurement is competed unrestricted u nder NAICS 541330 with a corresponding small business size standard of $4.0 Mil. The procurement will be subject to the Simplified Acquisition Procedures of FAR Part 13. The RFQ will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about 16 Jul 2004.
