- Description
- SPM300-04-R0323 is planned for solicitation to cover the requirements for full distribution Food Service Prime Vendor support in the Middle East. This will be a best value acquisition with all proposal information required to be submitted in writing. Oral presentations will not be utilized. The tentative issue date is 12 Aug 04. Closing date 12 Oct 04. A pre-proposal conference will be held in the Philadelphia area in mid-September. This unrestricted solicitation will contain 5 zones as follows: zone 1 Kuwait/Iraq/Jordan; zone2 United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Oman; zone 3 Afghanistan; zone 4 Bahrain/Qatar/Saudi Arabia; zone 5 Djibouti. The solicitation will incorporate a base year of up to eighteen months, two options of up to one year, and a final available option year of up to eighteen months. Anticipated dollar value is $1.4B per year for a total anticipated five year dollar value of $7B for all zones. The solicitation will post to the DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS.)
