- Description
- The Marine Corps Systems Command intends to award a sole source commercial contract to Cascade Designs, Inc., Seattle, WA 98134-2301 for a quantity of 2,150 Breakaway Plus Water Carriage Systems. This is a new set of requirements that will lead into the future of NBC compliant hydration bladders and carriers for producing an on-the-move water carriage system for the Marine Corps. The Breakaway Plus Water Carriage System must interface with the proprietary disinfection (MIOX technology) and filtration (MSR pre and post filters) technologies which meet the IWP block II requirements. Cascade Designs, Inc. is the only responsible source and has the Exclusive License Rights to manufacture the MIOX disinfection system and MSR filters. No other supplies or services will meet the Government’s requirement. No RFP is available for competitive bidding; however interested parties are encouraged to submit a statement of capability for satisfying this requirement by the due date indicated herein to the contact person listed above.
