Description
NAICS Code: 541710 In accordance with FAR Parts 12 and 13, Commercial and Simplified Acquisition Procedures, the U.S. EPA ORD/NHSRC requires a commercially available "off-the-shelf" Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2) Biodecontamination System that meets the following minimum specifications: System shall be designed to be capable of retrofitting to a CDC Biosafety Level-3 Laboratory, System shall be designed primarily for the decontamination of surfaces, Concentration of the Hydrogen Peroxide should be 30% or less than 10 mg/liter when the decontamination is active, Relative humidity should be around 40% when the decontamination is active, Temperature of operation should be between 4 and 60 C (20 C is usual) when the decontamination is active, End product(s) of decontamination must be nontoxic, Decontamination must not degrade microbiological equipment such as centrifuges, incubators, microscopes, telecommunication devices, computers, and computer driven equipment. System shall be suitable for decontamination of biological safety cabinets, Minimum One (1) Year Warranty, Mobile System, Minimal Weight, Maximum 41" width. This procurement is being conducted with full and open competitive procedures under NAICS code 541710 with a size standard of 500 Employees. Award will be made using "lowest price, technically acceptable" evaluation criteria. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the Agency. Any firm believing itself capable of providing the required Vaporous Hydrogen Peroxide decontamination system must request a copy of the RFQ in writing within fifteen (15) days of electronic posting of this notice.
