- Description
- NASA/KSC plans to issue a Sole-Source Request for Proposal (RFP) for a cleaning solvent HCFC 225G(AK225G). NASA/KSC intends to purchase the items from AGA Chemicals, Inc, out of Mission Viejo, CA, in accordance with the statutory authority U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1). This is a sole-source procurement under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. AGA chemicals has been identified as the only known responsible source to complete the requirement. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. This procurement is being conducted under the Simplified Acquisition Procurement (SAP). This notice of intent is not a request for quotation (RFQ) for competitive quotes. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing by mail, fax, or email to Janet Thodos not later than 12 NOON KSC local time on Monday, July 19, 2004.
