- Description
- U.S. or foreign flag barge or coaster vessel to move 57 +/- 10% CHOP TEUs of ammo. Minimum required speed of the vessel is 8 knots laden in moderate weather. Maximum draft of the vessel is 2 meters. In accordance with the Cargo Preference Act of 1904 and Section IIIA.3 of the Voluntary Intermodal Sealift Agreement (VISA) (see 68 FEDERAL REGISTER 8800-8808, February 25, 2003), preference will be given to U.S. flag vessels and VISA participants. Offerors may download a copy of the RFP by going to http://www.msc.navy.mil, under Contracts, then Active Request For Proposal (RFP/RFQ) Search. Select the appropriate RFP number and Search.
