Description

The U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM), 160th SOAR, has a requirement to purchase fifteen (15) additional Rocket Interface Units (RIUs), P/N: 29489-501 on a sole source basis from Smiths Aerospace, LLC. Smiths owns the rights to the technical data package for the RIUs currently in service at the 160th for use with the Hydra Rocket System. The Government intends to issue Solicitation H92241-04-R-0045, Request for Proposal (RFP)on or around 23 July 2004. The points of contact for this effort are as follows: Technical - Austin Barnard (757-878-0730, ext.238) and Contracts - Shirley Powell (757-878-5223, ext.248).
