- The purpose of this synopsis is to advise potential offerors that the government intends to issue an amendment to Solicitation DAAE20-03-R-0246 which will make technical changes to the requirement and revise the minimum guaranteed quantity. As a res ult of the changes, the government will request initial and revised proposals from offerors. The estimated issue date of the amendment is 2 August 2004. This amendment will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardc opies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. CAUTION: This amendment will be issued electr onically as will any subsequent amendments. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet a ddress in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. NOTE: THIS NOTICE WAS NOT POSTED TO WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-JUL-2004); HOWEVER, IT DID APPEAR IN THE FEDBIZOPPS FTP FEED ON THIS DATE.
