- Description
- FISC Norfolk Detachment Phila intends to solicit on a full and open competition on a commercial basis as outline under FAR part 12 for centrex communication services in support of the Base Communications Office located in the NSA Mechanicsburg, PA. The BCO supports approximately 9,000 active telephone lines. Said lines are acquired from alocal service provider and are delivered to a rate demarcation point. Services to be performed on site via a certified technician. The expected period of performance will consist of a 12 month base period starting 1 Oct 04 through 30 Sept 05 and will allow for up to four one year option periods. It is anticipated that a firm fixed price IDIQ contract will be the expect result from this acquisition effort. Subject RFP will be posted to the NECO web site upon release. Centrex services to be in accordance with established international telecommunications Union Telecommunications Standardization standards.
