- ?This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command.? The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Newport RI has a requirement for the refurbishment of three (3) HLF-1A transducers to HLF-1E configurations. These converted units will support the Acoustic Augmentation Support Program (AASP). A proposed sole source action with Hydroacoustics, Rochester, NY is anticipated. Hydroacoustics is the original manufacturer of the HLF-1 transducer and has the knowledge and expertise to make the required conversions. A new procurement modification to contract N66604-04-C-1302 is planned. Please direct any inquiries to Leslie Murphy Brazil, Contracting Officer at (401)832-1436.
