Description

This requirement is being porcured in accord with FAR Part 36, Construction and Architect-Engineer Contracts, and award will be made in accord withFAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for the renovation of the visitor center restrooms including new fixtures and finishes. The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials and expertise for the project. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accord with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 238220. The size standard is $12 Million. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. The tentative issuance date is 07/16/04 with a closing date of 08/11/04. A firm fixed price contract will be issued with a performance period of 60 days from the notice to proceed. The anticipated award date is 08/18/04. The RFQ documejts will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at Http://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFQ No. 401814Q174. Paper copies will not be available. Once the solicitation is posted it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. NOTE: In order to review the solicitation you must be registered at the Central Contract Registration (CCR) http://www.ccr.gov. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number which can be obtained free of charge from Duns and Bradstreet at (800) 335-0505.
