- Maintenance dredging of unclassified material in the Charleston Harbor, Upper Reaches, Shipyard River and Pier P, Charleston and Berkeley Counties, South Carolina. Estimated quantity to be dredged is approximately 1,290,000 cubic yards. Dredge mate rial shall be transported to and dumped in the Clouter Creek Disposal Area, Highway and South Cells. The work also includes a disposal area report. The contractor will commence work within 30 days of Notice to Proceed. The performance time is approximat ely 120 days after commencement of work. Competition for this solicitation is restricted to Small Businesses. The NAICS code is 237990 with a size standard of $17.0M. Additionally, the firm must perform at least 40% of the volume of dredging with its ow n equipment. The magnitude of the work is $1M - $5M. Engineering Federal Acquisition Regulation (EFARS) Clause 52.232-5001, Continuing Contracts, will apply to this procurement. Contractor must be registered in the DOD Central Contractor Registration pr ior to award of this solicitation. The solicitation and any subsequent amendments will only be available in electronic format, downloadable from the internet. No CD-ROMs or hardcopy documents will be distributed. Bidders must register on the website belo w in order to view or download the solicitation documents. It is the responsibility of the bidders to monitor the website for notices and amendments.
