- Description
- This project is construction with a magnitude of $500,000 to $1,000,000. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, materials, equipment, supplies, supervision, and other items necessary to repair and/or replace built-up-roofs as directed by delivery orders in strict accordance with the technical provisions and drawings of project JFSD200445. This project is on Grand Forks AFB, North Dakota. Period of Performance will be 365 calendar days in the base period and 365 days in the first and only option period. Bonds will be required. Type of contract will be a requirements type contract. The contract will include a form of economic price adjustment. The Producer Price Index (PPI) will be used to determine the option period unit prices. The government is considering whether or not to set aside this acquisition for HUBZone concerns only or Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business concern. (SDVOSB). If you are a either a HUBZone firm or a SDBOSB firm interested in this project and reasonably expect to submit a proposal, please respond by e-mail to steven.cliche@grandforks.af.mil. Your response must include a positive statement of your remaining bonding capacity, list of similar jobs involving roofing completed within the last three years including references and all contracts now in progress. Your response must be complete and include this information; otherwise the government will assume a reasonable offer by your firm will not be expected. Your response is requested by 13 July 2004. If you do not reply by this date, we will assume you are not interested in this project. Depending on responses from HUBZone and SDVOSB concerns, this acquisition will either be a HUBZone set-aside, SDBOSB set-aside or an unrestricted acquisition. Once issued, offerors must review the solicitation to determine offer eligibility. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated solicitation issue date is 14 July 2004. This solicitation will only be available by downloading the solicitation files at website http://www1.eps.gov . It is the responsibility of the interested parties to review the web site frequently for any updates of amendments. To access go to: Vendors, USAF, Air Mobility Command, and 319 CONS. No paper copies or CD-ROMs will be issued. All contractors MUST be actively registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database or their proposal will not be considered for award.
