- Description
- Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, tools and equipment required to Expand the Ambulatory Care Clinic in Building 1 at the VA Medical Center, St. Cloud, MN as required by the drawings and specifications. Work includes the relocation and reconnection of an emergency generator to a newly constructed generator building. Work also includes underground utilities including water, storm and sanitary sewers, and high and low voltage electrical. Work includes extensive excavation and construction for a two-story, 11,000 sf, clinical addition to Building 1. Work involves all construction trades. Electronic copies of the contract specifications and drawings may be obtained FREE of charge via www.fedbizopps.gov. Requests for hard copy solicitation documents must be in writing to the Contracting Officer and accompanied by a check for $75.00 made out to the Department of Veterans Affairs. Only ONE(1) request for hard copies will be honored per contractor. No telephone or faxed requests will be accepted. The drawings are in PDF format and can be opened using Adobe Acrobat. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will only be available on the VA Business Opportunities website, no hard copies will be mailed out. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining all amendments. Issue date is July 6, 2004, Pre-Bid Conference is July 22, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. with Bid Opening August 19, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. local time. The cost range for this project is $2.0 Million to $5.0 Million. THIS PROJECT IS SET-ASIDE 100% FOR SMALL BUSINESSES. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 with a size standard of $28.5 Million. No electronic offers will be accepted. Award is subject to the availability of funds.
