Description

The Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Medical Center (FMC), Butner, North Carolina, is seeking sources that can provide screened and certified for human use blood product services to meet the needs of the FMC. The Blood Products services required are Leukoreduced Red Cells, Fresh Frozen Plasma, and Single Donor Platelets, Antigen Screened, Cryoprecipitated AHF. Possible sources shall indicate capability of delivery of the aforementioned products on a routine (minimum response time of 24 hours), and emergent basis (one hour or less response time). Estimated annual requirement of 400 units of Leukoreduced Red Cells, 240 units of Fresh Frozen Plasma, 120 units of Single Donor Platelets, 20 units of Antigen Screened, and 24 units of Cryoprecipitated AHF. Interested parties should also submit their Reference Laboratory Testing Services list of services they offer beyond the products listed above.
