- Description
- The USCG ELC intends on establishing a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) with Beemster Electric, Inc, 133 N. Broadway, Green Way, WI 54303 for engineering services to validate/calibrate and adjust the Magnetek DSD 412 DC Drives controlling feature (i.e. control modes, safety permissive, operational configurations, regulating functions etc) perfomrs its intended function. The DSD 412 manufactuer requires that new and retrofit DSD installations receive onsite OEM commissioning via the OEM representative. The contractor shall be onsite for: I/O checkout, dockside startup and at sea testing evolutions as directed by the schedule. This services is anticipated for eleven (11) 225 WLB Cutters. The DSD412 drives were purchased from Beemster Electric from Magnetek, OEM. The USCG YARD is installing the drives. Beemster is the only US manufacturer representative who has the proprietary software drawings, original drive installation knowledge and cutter specific drive application knowledge. The RFQ will be posted nlt 7/7/04; quotes are due on 7/14/04. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.
