- Description
- NAVAIR NAWCAD Lakehurst intends to enter into a sole source delivery order with the Bell-Boeing Joint Program Office (JPO) for the development and manufacture of Servo-Cylinder Test Station Adjustment Tooling as identified in the Support Equipment Recommendation Data. The tooling is to be specially developed to support the unique needs of the test station which is required to support the maintenance philosophy of the V-22 Osprey Aircraft. The Government intends to procure this equipment under the authority of 10 USC 2304?(1) as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation Section 6.302-1. This is newly identified support equipment for which Bell-Boeing, the original equipment manufacturer, has developed the required technical data. Bell-Boeing is the only source possessing the requisite system knowledge, engineering expertise, aircraft integration information, and technical data needed to develop, test, and produce the adjustment tooling for the test station.
