- Description
- The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Design and Construction of Levee Pumping and Drainage Piping System at Coldwater National Wildlife Refuge, Grenada, Mississippi. Work includes, but is not limited to demolition of building structures, salvage of existing pump station components, installation of new pump, gear box, diesel power unit capable of 46,000 gallons per minute, new housing structure and associated piping. This is not a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 237990. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative RFP issue date is on or about 07/23/04, with a 30 day closing date. A firm fixed price purchase order will be issued with a performance period of 120 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 09/14/04. Award will be made to the responsive, responsible offeror whose proposal contains the combination of those criteria offering the best overall value to the Government considering price, technical merit and past performance. The RFP documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under RFP Number 401814R011. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Prospective offerors must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award. CCR registration requires applicants to have a DUNS number, which can be obtained free of charge from Dun and Bradstreet at (800) 333-0505.
