- Description
- Work under this project consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the renovation of one home, in accordance with regulations issued under the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Home Improvement Program. Due to this project being a private home, not a public dwelling, the Davis-Bacon and Miller Act do not apply. Project location is Carnegie, Oklahoma. The estimated cost of this project is between $25,000 and $100,000. Parties interested in submitting a bid, may request a bid packet, in writing or by phone from the Contracting Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005, telephone no. 405-247-1527. The Bid Opening will be held on Friday, July 30, 2004, 3:00 p.m., in the Branch of Contracts, Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
