- Description
- Work under this project consist of furnishing all labor, equipment, material and incidentals necessary for the construction of one bridge, including approaching roadway. Design and Engineering have been completed. Rights of way, permits, archeological and environmental clearances have been acquired. Project to include, but not limited to; earthwork, grade & drain, aggregate roadway, traffic control, temporary and permanent erosion control and complete bridge structure. Project location is in Brown County, Kansas; BIA Project B04201. The estimated cost of project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. Parties interested in submitting a bid, may request a bid packet, in writing or by phone from the Contracting Officer, Bureau of Indian Affairs, Southern Plains Regional Office, P.O. Box 368, Anadarko, OK 73005, telephone no. 405-247-1527. The Bid Opening will be held on Friday, July 30, 2004, 3:00 p.m., in the Branch of Contracts, Southern Plains Regional Office, Anadarko, OK. Section 7(b) of the Public Law 93-638 (25 U.S.C. 450E) and 41 CFR 14-1.354 requires that preference opportunities in employment and training be given to Indian/Alaskan individuals and that preference in the award of subcontracts be given to Indian/Alaskan economic enterprises.
