Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for a commercial service prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; P roposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is W912DQ-04-T-0069 and is issued as a request for quote. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 541611. The SIC code is 8742. The range of value for the proposed service is $20,000 to $90,000. It is the government's intent to award a purchase order to the proposal offering the best value to the government. The scope of work for this effort is defined in the first attachment to this announcement titled Statement of Work for Workplace Strategy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District. The purpose of the project is to develop a workplace strategy for the Kansas City District through an analysis of the wor kplace, personnel, business processes, technology and overall organizational performance and develop a clear direction for innovative workplace solutions that leverage space, help change the organization, promote productivity, and create a learning and tea ming environment. The Contractor will provide services to identify baseline performance of the workplace today and to identify the envisioned future performance of the workplace. The proposal format and submittal requirements to be provided in response t o this solicitation are defined in the second attachment to the announcement titled Proposal Format and Submittal Requirements for Workplace Strategy, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-C ommercial Items (July 2003), applies to this acquisition. The provisions at 52.212-2- Evaluation - Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. All offerors are to complete the provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications - Commerical Items (July 2003) and return with their quote. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. (Feb 2002). The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement statues of Executive O rders -Commercial Items (June 2003) applies to this acquisition. The following clauses are checked as applicable to this solicitation: 52.222-3, 52.222-19, 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.232-33, 52.222-41, 52.222-42, and 52.222 -43.
