- Description
- Contact: Judy Yellen, Contract Specialist, 973-724-3434. The U.S. Army TACOM-ARDEC,Picatinny Arsenal,New Jersey, intends to issue a request for quotation (RFQ)on a sole-source basis for the modification of sixty six cable harnesses that were previously purchased under ARDEC Contract Number DAAE30-02-C-1012. Modification of the cables are required to support critical fielding dates for the Mortar Fire Control System (MFCS). These cable harnesses are unique because they are the only cables of this type to become certified for MFCS. As a previous supplier of the Cable Harness, Vermillion Inc is uniquely qualified to perform these modifications, entailing changes to internal elements of the cable harnesses, that are needed to insure that electrical compatibility is effectively maintained with the MFCS vehicle intercom alert. TACOM-ARDEC intends to award a sole source purchase order to Vermillion Incorporated, 4754 South Palisade, Wichita, KS 67217 for modification and upgrade of the MFCS Cable Harnesses.
