- This is a combined synopsis and solicitation for the following commercial item: four (4) each refurbished or new 5000 to 6000 lbs forklifts. Acceptable example is MDL 7FGU25 Toyota. Pneumatic design tires. Tires must be of traction type tread with minimum of 50% tread depth left. Quote should be with and without enclosed cab. Diesel, gas or propane fuel. Minimum of 42-inch length forks. Quote should be with and without sideshift on forks. 1990 model year or newer. Equipment will be serviced and ready for operation. Maintenance records and operation manuals are required. Consideration will be given to all forklifts of one manufacturer. The forklifts shall be delivered, F.O.B. destination, to 5500 Bishop Boulevard, Cheyenne, Wyoming. Simplif ied Acquisition Procedures will be utilized. This synopsis and solicitation is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitati on; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Submit written offers on RFQ W912L3-04-T-0001 (oral offers will not be accepted). Quotes will be evaluated on a Best Va lue Basis. The offered forklifts must meet the minimum specifications stated above. The offer must state how the forklifts meets the minimum requirements. This is a 100% small business set-aside. NAICS is 423830, business size standard is 100 employees or less. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-14 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13.
