- Description
- The Flathead National Forest will be advertising a Request for Quotations for the Island South Forest Health Improvement Project on the Swan Lake Ranger District, Flathead County, Montana. One bid item consisting of 109 acres. Project consists of cutting, yarding, and decking an estimated 100 MBF of timber. Work includes removal and decking of dwarf mistletoe-infected Douglas-fir and lodgepole pine, fir engraver beetle infested grand fir, and low vigor Douglas-fir, lodgepole pine and grand fir. Issue date, July 21, 2004. The Notice to Proceed will be issued approximately August 30, 2004, with a completion date of October 29, 2004. Pre-bid Tour will be held on July 30, 2004.
