- THE PURPOSE OF THIS AMENDMENT IS TO CLARIFY THE REQUIRED QUANTITIES FOR CLINS 0001 AND 0002. SEE HEREIN. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, Virginia Beach, Virginia has a potential requirement to procure the following: CLIN 0001 P/N MLIND3278 Storage Locker, by folding guard, all welded, readiness storage locker, as per drawing. QUANTITY 132 EACH; Corrosive resistant gray powder coated finish; Size 28”D x 36”W x 84”H; CLIN 0002: P/N MLIND4287 Storage Locker, by folding guard, all welded, readiness storage locker, as per drawing. QUANTITY 36 EACH. Corrosive resistant gray powder coated finish. Size 28”D x 48”W x 84”H; CLIN 0003: Run all welded lockers through powder coat paint line. Please provide your fax number in the email. A copy of the email will be transmitted as the cover page with a copy of the drawings. This procurement will be accomplished using full and open competition procedures for Commercial-Off-the-Shelf Items. This solicitation is issued as a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Request for Quotation (RFQ) H92244-04-Q-0062. Submit written offers; oral orders will not be accepted. This procurement is being issued as a 100% SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-24, effective 18 June 2004. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) 238290 applies to this procurement. FOB: Destination NSWDG, 1636 Regulus Avenue, Virginia Beach, Virginia 23461-2299. The Government desired delivery date is 4 weeks after date of contract. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition: The provision at 52.212-1 Instructions to Offerors – Commercial Items (Oct 2000) applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2 Evaluation – Commercial Items (Jan 1999) applies. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5 , Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial (June 2003), FAR 52.203-6, Restrictions on Subcontractor Sales to the Government (Jul 1995), FAR 52.232-33, Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer (May 1999) applies, DFARS 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes for Executive Orders applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items (June 2004) applies, DFAR 252.225-7001, Buy American Act and Balance of Payment Program (April 2003) applies; DFAR 252.225-1101 Acquisition of Supplies applies. Quotations shall include the vendor’s cage code, DUNS number and TIN (Tax Identification Number). Quotations should be on company letterhead in company format and must be sent to ATTN: Christine Anderson at canderson@mail.nswdg.navy.mil, FAX (757) 492-7954. Quotes are required to be received no later than 12:00 EST, Friday, July 16, 2004. Award shall be made to the responsive, responsible offeror quoting the lowest overall evaluated price. Earliest delivery is the best. The prospective offeror must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) prior to award.
