Description
The 354th Contracting Squadron intends to proceed to award a sole source acquisition to Northrop Grumman Corporation-Denro Systems, 9318 Gaither Road, Gaithersburg, MD 20877. The requirement is to “Reconfigure an Existing Litton-Denro Switch” connected to Cope Thunder’s Pacific AK Range Complex (PARC) on Eielson AFB, AK. This requirement is proprietary in nature. The forthcoming RFP document, Reference No: F6977C31610200, and all incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Regulation Circular 2001-06. This acquisition has a NAICS code of 334418, SIC of 3679, Employee Standard of 500, and FSC of 5930. Contractor must also be CCR registered to receive the aforementioned award. Commercial practices still apply. The expected Period of Performance will be from on/about 6 July 2004 – 6 April 2005. This Special Notice is not a request for competitive proposals. There will be no solicitation documents issued for the proposed action. Interested parties may identify their interest and respond to the Special Notice. The government will consider all expressions of interest received within ten days (10) after date of publication of this Special Notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
