Description

INDEFINITE QUANTITY ROOF REPAIR/REPLACEMENT FOR VARIOUS, BUILDINGS AT NAVAL AIR STATION, MERIDIAN, MS PRESOLICITATION NOTICE. THIS SOLICITATION IS CLASSIFIED AS A HUB-ZONE CONCERN SET-ASIDE. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROPOSED WORK: Furnish all labor, transportation, materials, equipment, tools, supplies, and supervision necessary to provide repairs to various roofing systems as well as complete replacement of various roof systems and incidental related work. The proposed contract will be an indefinite delivery (IDQ) type contract with a base year and 4 possible one year options. The work shall be located at the Naval Air Station, Meridian (located in Lauderdale County Mississippi) and the outlying OLF Joe Williams Air Field (located in Kemper County, Mississippi). The Contracting Officer will indicate the exact locations of specified work. OBTAINING THE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION: The entire solicitation, including plans and specifications, will be available for viewing and downloading at WWW.ESOL.NAVFAC.NAVY.MIL after the projected date for issuance of solicitation documents stated below. Only bids submitted by responsible HubZone concerns shall be considered. The projected date for issuance of solicitation documents is 15 July 2004. The estimated date for bid opening is 17 August 2004. The estimated price range is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00 in the base year. The period of contract performance is 365 calendar days with 4 possible one year options. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS Code) for this Solicitation is 238160, Roofing Contractors. The associated Small Business size standard is $12.0 million.
