- Description
- The U. S. Geological Survey, Hydrologic Instrumentation Facility at the Stennis Space Center, MS intends to make award on a sole source basis, to YSI, INC., Yellow Springs, OH to replace inventory of water quality monitoring systems, probes, and spare parts. The requested equipment is needed to re-stock the HIF warehouse which supports mission requirements of USGS and other Federal Agencies nationwide. Since this equipment is correlated between many agenies, it is necessary to maintain the same equipment to ensure continuity of data recovery. There is no written solicitiation for this requirement. This award will be made on or about July 2, 2004 under the Simplified Acquisition Threshold of $100,000.00. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 334513. THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Responses to this notice must be submitted via email to: rrubien@usgs.gov by 4/1/04.
