- The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Construction of an Office Building located at Eufaula National Wildlife Refuge, Barbour County, AL. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, transportation and equipment necessary to construct an approximately 3508 SF new wood framed office building with hardy plank siding, all site work, electrical and mechanical systems. This is not a small business set-aside in accordance with the latest quarterly adjustment under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The NAICS code is 236220. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 07/12/04, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 240 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is 08/24/04. The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401814B010. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments. Note; Prospective offeror's must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) HTTP://WWW.CCR.GOV in order to be eligible for award.
