- The U.S. Military Academy intends to award a sole source purchase order for Phase II of the Desert Research Study to include the scientific characterization of desert environments and the impact of desert environments on the Army's vehicles and equip ment to the Desert Research Institute, 2215 Raggio Parkway, Reno, NV 89512. Desert Research Institute successfully completed Phase I of this Study and was determined to be the most qualified to accomplish Phase II in the required time constraints. The p eriod of performance will be from date of award through 30 September 2005. There will be no solicitation available for this procurement.
