- Description
- The Air Force Flight Test Center (AFFTC), Edwards AFB intends to solicit and award a sole source, Time & Materials contract, to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Fort Worth TX. Engineering support is requested for the Variable Stability In-Flight Simulator and Test Aircraft (VISTA), NF-16D, and the general support fleet F-16 aircraft that are utilized in support of the United States Air Force Test Pilot School (USAF TPS), located at Edwards Air Force Base, California. Support requirements include: basic F-16 engineering support, documentation support to include VISTA/F-16 TCTO support and logistic support. Potential respondents must show that they have complete access, control, and usage rights of proprietary information, which can be applied to this contract. Contractors interested in this requirement should submit a complete technical package, which provides clear and convincing evidence that they can meet the Government?s requirement. Responses shall be limited to 15 pages and should include, as a minimum, (1) evidence of past experience; and (2) related projects and/or existing systems, etc. Anticipated Award date is 28 Jul 04 with contract performance beginning 01 Aug 04. Responses must be received no later than (NLT) 4:00 p.m., Pacific Standard Time on the posted close date. Responses should be submitted to: Directorate of Contracting, AFFTC/PKDB (Steven Barry), 5 South Wolfe Avenue, Bldg. 2800, Edwards AFB, CA 93524-1185. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all responses received before the due date published in this notice. A determination by the Government not to compete this acquisition based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government does not intend to pay for any information provided under this synopsis. All respondents are reminded of the required Central Contractor Registration (CCR) requirement to be considered eligible for any potential Department of Defense contracts.
