- Description
- The purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the Federal Aviation Administration's (FAA) intent to contract on a single source basis pursuant to AMS paragraph 3.2.2.4. The FAA???s Software Engineering Resource Center (SERC) has implemented the NAS Adaptation Services Environment (NASE) using web portal technology. NASE enables FAA, contractor and Research and Development users to obtain specific National Airspace System (NAS) adaptation data and tools. NASE was developed using Art Technology Group's (ATG) proprietary Dynamo and Portal products suite. The FAA will lease/purchase a "Program-wide License" from ATG through their reseller, Hannon Armstrong Capital, L.L.C. ATG has a singular reseller relationship with Hannon, therefore, the FAA must use Hannon to lease /purchase the licenses. A competitive solicitation is not available for this procurement.
