- Solicitation number SB1341-04-Q-0655 dated June 23, 2004 is hereby amended to respond to technical questions submitted. Question: Does the pumping station need to have any special provisions in terms of portability, ie wheeled cart, minimal size and or weight package, ect? Answer: The pumping station must have wheels so it can be easily moved. Question: Does the pumping station need any type of instrumentation such as vacuum gauges, ect? Answer: No Gauges are required. Question: Does the pumping station need to include a truely oil free pump stack, ie a mag-lev turbo as opposed to a conventional ceramic bearing turbo backed by an oil free vacuum pump? Answer: A ceramic bearing turbo with an oil-free backing pump is acceptable. The due date for quotes, July 02, 2004 @ 3pm local time, remains unchanged.
