- Description
- This is a resolicitation of NRCS-20-IA-04. Buffalo Basin and US Fish & Wildlife WRP Restoration Project.The work on this project will consist of restoring wetlands on two sites in Franklin and Wright Counties in. Work at the Buffalo Basins site will consist of installing a low dike and a ditch plug to restore shallow water areas. Other work includes shallow water excavations, tile plugs, seeding and installing corrugated polyethylene tubing. At the USF&W site a low dikes will be constructed across restore shallow water area. Additional work at this site include a diversion structure and pipe, replacing tile outlets, tile plugs and a water control structure. Equipment such as dozers, or excavators, scrapers and low ground pressure dozers will be used to construct the dikes with shallow borrow from specified locations. Performance time is 57 days for the entire project Range of cost for this project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
