Description

The project location is Ellsworth AFB SD and Colony WY. The Work consists of, but is not limited to, the following: Repair, replacement, and minor construction of Asphalt,Cement Concrete (ACC) pavements, including base roads, housing area streets, parking lots, and airfield pavements. Specific work includes cold milling of asphalt,full depth patching, overlay, tack coat, seal coat, slurry seal, rejuvenators, crack sealing, replacement of curbs and gutters, and adjustment of utility accesses. The contractor shall provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment, labor and applicable licenses and permits necessary to ensure that the above work is performed in a manner that will restore a neat and professional appearance. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237310 and the size standard of $28.5 million applies. Performance period is Aug 1 2004 through 31 July 2005 plus four option years. Each option year shall begin 1 August and end on July 31. This action will be awarded under the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The base year project magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000 and each option year magnitude is between $250,000 and $500,000. All prospective offerrors must have a Commercial and Government entity (CAGE) Code and be registered with Central Contractor Registration (CCR_ at http://www.ccr2000.com. Release of the solicitation will be via the Internet only. Interested parties may download the solicitation from http://fedbizopps.gov ; where it will be posted in or about 7 June 2004. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. The closing date and time for submission of offers will be contained within the solicitation package. When the solicitation is posted, it is imperative that interested parties review the website frequently for any updates/amendments.
