- NASA/GSFC has a requirement for software maintenance for one (1) year for the following: Qty: 1 EA PC/PCB CAD Interfaces Op Qty: 1 EA XTK Ap SW Qty: 5 EA DxAnalog w/Fusion Enabler Qty: 5 EA Fusion/ViewSim Op SW Qty: 7 EA DXD050 KIT Ap SW Qty: 5 EA FUSION/SPEEDWAVE AP SW Qty: 1 EA ePlanner 150 Bndl SW Qty: 5 EA DxDesigner 050 Ap SW Qty: 2 EA ModelSim PE/VHDL N/F Ap S NASA/GSFC intends to purchase the items from Mentor Graphics Corporation, Wilsonville, OR. Mentor Graphics Corporation is the only vendor who has proprietary knowledge of the software packages. Mentor Graphics is the sole developer and provider of these items. The Authority is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12. Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on July 1, 2004. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency. An Ombudsman has been appointed.
