The government cannot guarantee a bidder will be added to the bidders list if registration is not confirmed via fax to the above fax number. DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON CD ONLY. This solicitation will be issued on or about July 16, 2004. The Walla Walla District Corps of Engineers, intends to award a firm-fixed price service contract. The work will be for the rehabilitation of a floating bulkhead for the navigation l ock at Ice Harbor Lock and Dam. The bulkhead is a structural steel fabrication, 88 feet long by 10 feet wide by 27-1/2 feet tall with concrete ballast, piping, valving, pumps and controls for operating the bulkhead. The bulkhead is coated with vinyl pain t. The rehabilitation will consist of complete replacement of the lower 11-1/2 feet of the bulkhead structure including new concrete ballast and replacement of all mechanical and electrical components. New steel will be painted with vinyl paint. All wor k will be performed at the Contractors facility. The bulkhead may be towed as a vessel for transport. Completion time for this work will be approximately 150 calendar days following award. ADMIN INFO: Procurement is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) code is 7699 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 488390. For the purpose of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, t aken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $6,000,000. This is not a request for bid, but a notice that a solicitation will be issued for this requirement. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered by this agency.
